Sisters and Brothers, let Jesus look upon and heal your hearts. I need to do this, too! I need to let Jesus look upon my heart and heal it. If you have already felt His gentle gaze upon you, imitate Him, do as He does. Look around: you will see many people who feel wounded and alone, people who need to feel loved. Take the step. Jesus asks you to look but do not stop at outward appearances, look upon their hearts but do not be judgmental. Let us stop judging others and welcome people in. Let us open our hearts so we can welcome in others. Only love heals life. – Pope Francis
